BURN INJURY PREVENTION

BURN INJURY PREVENTION

Anthrax is an acute bacteriological infectious disease of zooanthroponosis characterized by poisoning, inflammation of the skin, lymphatic organs and internal organs. It has a leathery and smelly appearance. There are three types of sources of burns.

1. Agricultural workers dealing with animals.

2. Industrial workers.

3. Domestic workers.

The first type corresponds to summer and fall, but the other two types can be found regardless of the season. Humans contract the disease by contact, alimentary, airborne, droplet and blood. Prevention of this disease is closely related to cooperation with veterinarians, since it is transmitted to humans when animals are captured and their skin and hair is handled, less frequently it is transmitted to humans through blood-sucking flies.

Particularly preventive vaccination of newborn animals of all species, they are vaccinated again after 6 months, then regularly once a year. Slaughter of vaccinated animals is allowed 10 days after vaccination.

Sick animals are identified, separated from other animals, their bodies cremated and their site disinfected with the necessary solutions.

People who have been in contact with infected materials or used them are under the supervision of a family doctor for 2 weeks. The most important thing is to immunize people and animals with live anthrax vaccine.
