VISIT OF THE MINISTERS OF HEALTH OF UZBEKISTAN AND KAZAKHSTAN TO SEI “AVICENNA TAJIK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY”
On October 2, 2025, SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” warmly welcomed the official visit of Mr. Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov, Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Ms. Akmaral Sharipbaevna Alnazarova, Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The visit took place within the framework of the 38th Meeting of the CIS Council for Cooperation in the Field of Healthcare.
During their visit, the distinguished guests toured several educational and scientific units of the University and familiarized themselves with its achievements and modern facilities. Special emphasis was placed on the University’s role as a leading center for training medical professionals in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Rector of the University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Muhiddin Nuriddin Davlatali, warmly welcomed the delegation and engaged in a constructive dialogue. Both sides underlined the promising opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the following areas:
- joint scientific research and implementation of collaborative projects;
- academic exchange of faculty members and students;
- study of advanced medical practices and development of simulation-based programs;
- enhancement of practical cooperation between healthcare institutions of the countries.
At the conclusion of the visit, the parties reaffirmed their strong commitment to continue this fruitful collaboration and expressed their intention to deepen strategic partnership. The distinguished ministers also left heartfelt notes in the University’s Guest Book, symbolizing mutual respect and further strengthening of the traditional friendship among Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
Such visits not only enhance academic and scientific cooperation but also play a vital role in reinforcing strategic relations and the long-standing friendship among CIS member states.
