30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN AT THE AVICENNA TAJIK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Today, 21.02.2023, a ceremonial gathering dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of war and labor veterans, military personnel, administration, professors and teachers, as well as a wide range of university student were held in the military medicine department of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University. Officers of the military medical faculty and students of the university lined up and were welcomed by the head of the department, Z. I. Barotov, the rector of the university d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. and guests, the meeting was opened to the State Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan. Rector of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University of Tajikistan d.m.s., professor M.Q. Gulzoda made a speech and congratulated the participants and all our compatriots on the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, recalled the painful moments and material and technical shortcomings of the newly established Army of the Republic of Tajikistan during the extremely tense period of military resistance in the first years of independence, and noted that “The Army after the independence of our young state, although it was created in an extremely difficult economic and social situation, but as a result of taking all timely and necessary measures by the leadership of the state and the government of the country, its parts were prepared in a short time to defend the ancestral lands and the gains of independence of our country”.
Indeed, state independence is the most important gift and valuable achievement of the Tajik people. It was as a result of independence and freedom, hard work and efforts of the sons of the Tajik people that the survival of the Tajik state was strengthened, the foundations of the constitutional system, social relations in all spheres, including defense, which is considered an important unit in the defense of the state and the nation, where the creation and implementation of the legal framework is established, and today the world recognizes and respects the independent Tajikistan and the Tajik people with historical accuracy and valuable achievements of the era of independence. As the founder of national peace and unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan his excellency Emomali Rahmon in his speech at the commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, stressed: We created a gap. We had no Ministry of Defense, no infrastructure, no necessary material and technical base, no specialists and professional personnel.
Today, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan are enduring and strong, and in light of the constant support and care of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan have a high defense capability of the border and the region and ensuring the security and stability of the state and the nation. As the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, distinguished Emomali Rahmon, emphasized: "Today I can proudly say that the servicemen of the Armed Forces have honorably fulfilled their historic mission before the state and the people of Tajikistan. The state and the people of Tajikistan see servicemen of the Armed Forces as reliable defenders and courageous defenders of the homeland."
It should be noted that the full independence and development of any state is primarily connected with ensuring a stable and stable political situation and the security of society. In accordance with this order, the Independence and Unity of our society will grow, because the Army and in general all our power structures proudly fulfill their sacred duty to protect the honor and dignity of every person and the stability of society as a whole.
At a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, the university rector d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. awarded 20 employees of the Department of Military Medicine, 16 war and labor veterans and 3 people with certificates and prizes. Students who won prizes in the military-sports shooting competition among the cadets of the military department of higher education institutions were awarded certificates and prizes.
The students also performed military tactical exercises at the commemoration. The 30th anniversary gathering of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University in Tajikistan concluded with a cultural performance.
