UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEETING
Today, January 11th , 2023, under the direction of rector of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q., a regular meeting of the University Council was held. At the beginning of the meeting the rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. The head of the department of topographic anatomy and surgery Qurbonov Jurabek Muminovich with 60th birthday anniversary and the assistant of the department of organic and physical-colloid chemistry of the University Nikolaeva Vera Vasilyevna with 50th anniversary of their birth and for contribution to the development of medical science and training of highly skilled personnel of the health care were awarded
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
1. Report on medical-consulting and sponsorship activities in 2022. Status of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan of "ATSMU Development Strategy until 2025" on medical-consulting and sponsorship activities. 2. Report of educational-scientific and clinical center "Dentistry". Reporter: Director of educational-scientific and clinical centre “Dentistry” Odinaev I.S., c.m.s.

2. News of quality of education in the first half of 2022-2023 academic year, problems and ways of improving the quality of education in the departments and the university. Reporter: Director of the Center for Strategic Development and Quality of Education Mahmudzoda Kh.R., c.m.s.
3. Various issues.
At this session, under the direction of rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q., issues of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan "Development Strategy of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University until 2025" related to treatment and consulting and sponsorship, educational and scientific work, quality of education, problems and ways of improving quality of education in the university departments, in general, discussed the implementation of effectiveness of university activities, rector of the University, c.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q., gave specific instructions and assignments to officials.
In the section on various issues, the university rector d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q., all Vice-Rectors, deans, heads of departments and professors were instructed to conduct outreach work with students to strengthen their political knowledge and prevent them from joining any extremist parties and movements.
Also the rector of the university, d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. emphasized the issues of continuing the examinations of the winter examination session and re-take examinations at the necessary level, constant monitoring of the buildings and dormitories of the University in connection with the prevention of risks that may arise in the cold season, and strict instructions were given to those responsible for compliance with safety rules.
