SESSION OF THE UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION
Today, December 14th , 2022, under the direction of the Rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. a regular meeting of the University administration was held. At the beginning of the meeting the rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. Ismoilov Komiljon Isroilovich, professor of children's diseases department №2 of the University was awarded with a diploma and a prize on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Ismoilov Komiljon Isroilovich, as a selfless specialist, successfully promoted pedagogical, scientific and medical fields at the stages of professional maturity and achieved significant success in each of them. Along with the fact that he grew up to be a good and skillful doctor, for many years he associated his fate to the Medical University and made an invaluable contribution to the training of top-class specialists in the field of medicine. He began to work at the university as an assistant to the department (1985-91) and rose to professor level (2001) and head of the department of children’s diseases №2 of the university (2004-2021), which may be due to his constant efforts, professionalism and responsibility, highly appreciated in the performance of the task. As a prolific scientist, he devoted his scientific activity to the study of issues of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases, published more than 200 scientific publications and several textbooks on the problems of this field and is still used as an important guide in the process of education and training of young professionals.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
1. Report on the educational activities of the university in 2022. Status of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan of "Development Strategy of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University until 2025" on educational works;
a) Report of educational department;
b) Report of the department of youth affairs;
c) Report of the employees' trade union committee;
d) Report of Student Trade Union Committee.
g) Report of the Council of Women and Girls
2. Report on the activities of economic-administrative sector, construction and improvement works of the university in 2022.
Regarding the implementation of the goals, objectives and action plan of the "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University Development Strategy until 2025" related to the educational activities and educational works of the university in 2022, the report of the head of educational department c.ph.s., Abdurahmonov Z.V., the report of the head of the department of youth affairs Mirsharofov M.M., the report of the head of the union committee of employees c.ph.s., Amirov Sh.R., the report of the chairman of the committee of student trade union c.ph.s., B.B. Safarov, the report of the chairman of the council of women and girls, d.m.s., professor G.M. Usmonova and the report of the vice-rector on educational work, associate professor P.K. Qurbonbekova was performed.
Also at the meeting on the activities of economic-administrative sector, construction and improvement works of the university in 2022, the report of vice-rector for economic-administrative work c.m.s., associate Professor T.Z. Khokiroev was heard.
At this meeting, the rector of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University doctor of medical sciences, professor Gulzoda M.Q. on the implementation of goals, objectives, action plan "Development Strategy of ATSMU until 2025" related to educational activities, activities of economic and administrative sector, construction and improvement of the University, as well as specific instructions and assignments for effective implementation of activities that was given.
In the section on various issues, the implementation of the Rector's order to conduct an internal audit and inventory of University property, the correct and analytical presentation of the University's annual report in a timely manner, the correct, error-free and timely response to the letters and Government Action Plan were discussed and specific instructions were given.
