THE NEXT SESSION OF THE UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION
Today, 29.03.2023, the next Council session of the University was held under the guidance of the rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali. At the beginning of the session rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali, professor of the department of surgeon diseases №2 named after Usmonov N.U. d.m.s., Karim Polodovich Artikov was awarded a certificate of honor, money and flowers in connection with his 70th anniversary.
It should be mentioned that after graduating from the medical university, Karim Polodovich Artikov worked as a surgeon for many years effectively in different medical institutions of the republic. In 1985, with rich knowledge and professional experience he returned to his favorite university and worked as an assistant at that sacred institution of the department (1985-90) and reached the rank of professor of Surgical Diseases Department №2. Modern scientific research on the problems of reconstructive surgery is still of great importance among specialists in this field. As a prolific scientist, Artikov Karim Polodovich is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, monographs, textbooks, methodological and methodical recommendations and innovative proposals. Under his supervision several young specialists defended their scientific dissertations. On the direct initiative of Karim Polodovich Artikov in 1987 the department of restorative and reconstructive surgery was created in Municipal Clinical Hospital №5 of the capital.
The following issues were discussed at the session:
1. Report of the head of the department of ophthalmology on the educational, methodological, educational, scientific and therapeutic activities for the period of his election to the position.
2. Report on the activity of the LSRC for the year 2022.
3. News of the preparation of the department of education, dean's offices and departments for the state final examinations.
4. Various issues.
On educational, scientific and medical work report of the head of the department of ophthalmology of the University, c.m.s., associate professor Mahmadzoda Sh.Q, associate professor Ghaniev A.A., on the preparation of the department of education deans and departments on state examinations, news of the Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work, d.m.s., professor Ibodzoda S.T. were heard.
Rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali, in order to implement the goals, objectives, action plan "ATSMU Development Strategy until 2025" training, methodological, educational, scientific and treatment activities, strengthening the activities of CSRL, preparing the education department, deans' offices and departments for the state final exams, in general good university activities gave specific instructions and assignments to officials.
In the section on various issues the rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali organized and conducted open classes and meetings on the importance of international initiatives of Tajikistan in the field of water and climate, the role of the national Leader, Emomali Rahmon, in addressing human problems, and also gave instructions and instructions to officials to clean up the environment, especially the University and its surroundings, administrative and academic buildings and University dormitories.
