On June 18, 2025, a formal meeting was held between the Rector of the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University," Dr. Muhiddin Nuriddin Davlatali, and the Rector of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Professor Seyed Basir Hashemi.

The meeting served as a platform for in-depth discussions on establishing strategic scientific and academic collaboration between the two institutions.
