According to the order of the educational and methodical department of the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University", weekly at the department of propaedeutics of children’s diseases practical classes are held for young teachers under the guidance of the teaching assistant of the department - candidate of medical sciences Khaidarova O.F.           

On February 10, 2024 the theme of the class was devoted to anatomo-physiological features, methods of research, semiotics and syndromes of urinary system lesions in children.

Special attention was paid to:

1) on anatomo-physiological features of kidneys, bladder, ureters and urethra in children of different ages, structure of nephron and mechanism of urine formation, determination of daily amount of urine according to formulas in children over one year old;

2) methods of investigation - renal and extrarenal symptoms, medical and life history, examination, palpation, percussion and auscultation;

3) syndromes of urinary system organ damage in children (clinical and laboratory characteristics of nephrotic and nephritic syndromes; mechanism of edema and hypertension syndromes, acute and chronic renal failure).

Young assistants were advised to pay more attention to the practical part of the class - work at the patient's bedside. Students should be able to carry out research methods at the patient's bedside under the supervision of the teacher, interpret laboratory methods of research, make a conclusion, know medical terms. In conclusion, questions were asked and answered comprehensively.
