On May 2, 2023, a delegation from the SEI "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" led by Vice-Rector for Science and Publishing activities, Professor Mukhabbatzoda J.Q. held a mutually beneficial online meeting with the delegation of the University of Kirikkale of the Republic of Turkey led by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Mr. Mehmet Basalan. The purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for cooperation and establish a mutually beneficial partnership between the two institutions.

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the conclusion of a cooperation agreement between the SEI Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the University of Kirikkale. The agreement provides a framework for collaboration in various areas of the medical field, including the training of highly qualified personnel, academic exchange, the development of various scientific and educational projects within the Erasmus+ program, the holding of various scientific events such as conferences, symposiums, training seminars and exchange mobility.

Representatives of the departments of international cooperation from both universities held a presentation of their institutions to get acquainted with each other. The presentations provided valuable insights into the programs, facilities, and research activities of both universities, and helped identify areas where the institutions could collaborate to achieve common goals.

At the end of the meeting, views were expressed regarding further cooperation, and the staff of the University of Kirikale were invited to participate in the summer school of the University. The meeting was a significant step in strengthening ties between the two universities and developing further cooperation in the field of education and science.
