5 - OCTOBER STATE LANGUAGE DAY AND TEACHER'S DAY

On October 3-4, 2024, a conference was held at the Department of Foreign Languages ​ ​ dedicated to the day of the state language and the day of the teacher.

The conference was attended by the teaching staff of the department and students of 17, 19, 20 groups of the 2nd year of the medical faculty.

         In the conference spoke the head of the department Makhmudova S. S., senior teachers of the department Mirzoeva G.H. Karimova M.D. then students read their reports and read poetry in three languages. Teachers noted that in Tajikistan at the end of the second half of the 80s. XX century, as in many national republics of the Soviet Union, national democratic forces began active actions. In the wake of the glasnost policy, the main question was "On the state language."

         July 22, 1989 was declared in the republic "State Language Day." The named day was celebrated in state institutions in 1990-2009, until this Law was amended by the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Emomali Rahmon in his speech on the occasion of the holiday noted: "Due to the fact that July 22 falls on the period of summer holidays in schools and educational institutions of the country, the period of vacations of employees of organizations and institutions, the active participation of all strata of society in the celebration of this date, it became impossible.

         On October 5, 2009, after the adoption of the law "On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan," this date was declared the Day of the State Language in the country. " The President of the Republic of Tajikistan signed the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated October 5, 2009 "On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan" (Akhbori Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2009, No. 9-10, Article 546). This Law regulates the use of the state language and other languages in the activities of state authorities, self-government bodies of villages and villages, as well as legal entities, regardless of organizational and legal forms, dekhkan (farm) farms and individual entrepreneurs.
