Medical Diagnostic Center of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University began their medical diagnostic practice starting from 2009 of February which provides medical services to students, university workers, and others. It is the first established university clinic. The MDC of ATSMU consists of clinics, in-patient department, and medical diagnostic units.

The specialists of the center are in the tight interrelation to the other departments and every week they give medical advice to the students. The quality of treatment is improving day by day and amount of patients with infectious and inflammatory diseases are diminishing.
Departments of surgery, laboratory, US, and ECG are equipped with the modern devices. Small and middle-sized surgeries and many different endo-video procedures are carried out in the surgical department. Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy are located in this center.
This department is equipped with modern and medical equipment for educational purposes and for training students.
The center also has a kitchen, pharmacy, and phytotherapy unit for patients.
