The administration of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University invites students and young scientists (up to 35 years old) to participate in XIV International scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students of ATSMU «Scientific discussion: current issues, achievements and innovations in medicine» April 19, 2019

Forms of participation: 

 • Only publication of abstracts 

• Publication of abstracts and oral report

Languages of the conference: Tajik, Russian, English.

The conference will be held in the format of sectional meetings in the following areas: 

 Requirements and procedures for participant registration 

1. To participate in the conference, one should fill out an application form of abstracts until March 10, 2018 and submit to the department of sciences and innovation by the address: Dushanbe city, Rudaki Avenue 139. Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, room number 214, Monday-Friday from 13:30 till 17:00. 2. Electronic version of an abstract should be maintained according to the first author's full name (for example, Karimov A.A._ abstract.doc) and in the form of attached files send to the email address: conference@tajmedun.tj  It’s also required to specify the participation option. 3. The scientific works, sending for participation in the conference should not be previously published. 4. The Editorial board of the conference reserves for itself the decision to publish the works in the collection. 5. Abstracts which are not corresponding to the established requirements will not be accepted! 6. Following the results of the conference will be published a collection of scientific works.

Requirements for abstract design

Important! Materials should be typed in MS Word (1997-2003, 2007). Volume - up to 1 page. Font – Times New Roman, size of type 12, interval - 1.5 (throughout the document). Width adjustment, margins of 2 cm on each side. Use of illustrations, tables and graphs in the text is not allowed. An abstract should have up to 3 authors. It is not allowed to introduce a head of the work into the team of authors. The order of formalizing an abstract: Purpose of the work; Material and methods of research; Results of research and Conclusions.

 REQUIREMENTS TO POSTER PAPERS

Poster size: A1 format, portrait mode (841 x 594 mm). In the top part the name of work which is printed by a direct font (the recommended size not less than 48). Surnames of authors and the research supervisor, the name of institution where carried out the work are provided below (the recommended size not less than 36). The text containing the main information is printed by a direct font (the recommended size 18).

Sections of poster. Materials of the poster paper should contain: - the heading including the name of the report, a full name and the place of work/study of authors; - introduction (at will); - actuality, the purpose and tasks of the performed work; - research technique; - results; - conclusions; - information on introduction in production or scientific activity (if is available).

Design: Drawings and tables should have names. The format of drawings, tables, height of letters, thickness of lines on schedules, etc. must provide a possibility of reading of material from distance not less than 2 m. Highlighting is for descriptive reasons allowed. At the same time, however, it is necessary to avoid excessive "diversity of colours ".

During all exposition authors of the report have to be at the stand and to be ready to answer questions.
