Another major University achievement is the completion of construction, equipment and commissioning of an unfinished new academic building in the Shifobakhsh town on August 29, 2017 with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdulkohir Rasulzoda and Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali participation on the eve of the celebration of Independence Day of RT and Day of Knowledge

Due to rationally using of University budget, we began repairing and construction work, the result of which we owned another modern building with an area of 9,400 m2, of which 6,056.77 m2 is a study area. The new academic building has audiences, lecture halls, a science library, a reading room, an electronic library room, which are provided with modern equipment. The educational building owns a centre for training practical skills "CTPS" as well. Recently, the Centre has been equipped with the most advanced simulation technology (simulators, models, phantoms, medical equipment and visual aids). Modern simulation equipment purchased by the Medical Education Reform Project for more than 2 million somoni in European countries. The Centre for Practical Skills opened new subject classrooms, 14 specialized classrooms for specialties. The Centre functions fully and annually it serves more than 18,000 students, teachers and employees of other medical institutions. Three new sections were opened at the Centre 3 (reception section, preoperative and surgical). The Centre also has an “Ambulance” circle and all the conditions for training and development of more than 400 practical and communicative professional skills.

The project area is 9,400 m2, of which 2,534.44 m2 occupies the construction area, 6,056.77 m2 constitutes a usable area, 2,680.19 m2 consists of flower beds.
