CELEBRATION OF NAVRUZ HOLIDAY AT THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
On 18.03.2024 at the Square of the educational complex of Shifobakhsh of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University a solemn meeting dedicated to the International Navruz holiday with the participation of the management, faculty and students of the university was held. The meeting was addressed by the rector of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali congratulated the participants and all our compatriots on the international Navruz holiday and spoke about the cultural elements, spiritual, humanitarian and environmental values of the people. The Tajik people, the historical origin and significance of Navruz today, the efforts of the Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Emomali Rahmon, spoke on the international status of the holiday Navruz and on the basis of the speeches of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is "On the initiative and proposal of the Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Emomali Rahmon and with the support of the countries of the world, International Navruz is recognized by the General Assembly of the United Nations as an international holiday and is celebrated annually with splendor throughout the world. International Nowruz is recognized as a rare achievement of universal culture in the world and celebrated for its special humanitarian qualities - kindness and goodness, pride and joy, happiness and victory.
Rector of the University, d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadsoh Qurbonali in continuation of his speech noted that: "Navruz, as a shining shell and a stable symbol of civilizations, always protects the nation, language, customs, culture and history. It is a matter of pride that in the era of independence of the Motherland, Navruz has been revived in a new light and has become a precious value of mankind. Navruz is seen as a factor in strengthening national identity and uniting different nations and peoples of the world. It is from here that the respected people of the country, relying on their eternal wisdom, originality of creativity and creative identity, make confident steps towards a good future for the prosperity of our dear Motherland - the Republic of Tajikistan".
As the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, emphasized during the grand celebrations related to Navruz: "In connection with the international Navruz holiday in recent years, scientists, scholars, writers and cultural figures of the world with their faith and respect for it, its humanitarian and peaceful significance in society are widely represented all over the world, and thus the status of this holiday becomes even higher".
According to prominent figures of science and literature, the world Navruz today can also play an effective role in integration and cooperation, peace and harmony, friendship and mutual understanding of the peoples of the planet, i.e. it can unite mankind and serve as the best means of communication between civilizations.
