NOBODY IS FORGOTTEN, NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN

NOBODY IS FORGOTTEN, NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN

Exactly 83 years have passed since the fascist attacked the Soviet Union. On June 22, 1941 the Great Patriotic War began, the longest war in human history. Citizens of all countries of Central Asia participated in this war, among them were tens of thousands of Tajik envoys. From the first day of the war, the Tajik people, like other peoples of the Soviet Union, understood all the dangers that befell their homeland. The military commissariats of Tajikistan constantly received applications from applicants to the Red Army. That year my grandfather Ashurov Akhmed went to the military Commissariat too. He was born in Chorbog of Varzob region. At that time he studied at a boarding school in the Oktyabrsky district and learned German well, and really wanted to be accepted into the scout group. Не underwent military training for several months in the scout group. He was sent to the front in September 1942. He had actively fought from 1942-1945. The first time he and his friend Genadiy Andreevich were dropped from a parachute into the German rear where there were German motorcycles. They exploded all motorcycles and one of the motorcycles which was on the way flew off the road and crashed into a tree. A German captain came out from there with a red bandage and holding a black briefcase in his arms. Then they grabbed him, took his briefcase and tied his hands, they opened this one. The briefcase contained important materials and a map with marked signs of their offensive location. They delivered this fascist with his bag to headquarter. Using a coder they report that they caught the German captain along with his black bag. The Commander – in – Chief gives the order to send the Soldiers who delivered this bag to headquarters for reward. They are sent to Moscow. Stalin himself personally awarded them by the medal of the Red Star for bravery. After they return from Moscow, they are attacked by Germans on the way and a bullet hits him in the head. His friend took him to the hospital, and he stayed there for two months. And for the second time, during the attack on the Kurtskaya arc, a bullet hits his fingers and thus receives a second wound and loses three fingers.

At the end of the war due to health reasons and due to received wounds was still hospitalized for 4 month. For bravery and courage was awarded the several medals by the Supreme Commander – in – chief: Medal of the Red Star, Medal of Glory, Medal of the Red Flag, Medal of the Great Patriotic War of the first degree, Medals for military merit, Medals for the capture of Berlin, 18 certificates, ets. Every year on May 9 veterans of the Great Patriotic War are invited to celebrate Victory Day. In September 1945, Akhmed Ashurov returned to his homeland and, by order of Tursun Uljabaev the first Secretary of the Central Committee, he was solemnly welcomed. After returning home he begins his working career.
