Indeed, independence is a symbol of honor and pride, the foundation of statehood, and national identity. Independence is not only a symbol of freedom, but also the preservation of our identity, language, culture, and national values. Thanks to independence, the Tajik nation was able to revive its history and culture, the Tajik language gained official status, national symbols were adopted, and Tajikistan’s position on the world stage was strengthened. All of these achievements are the result of the initiatives of the Head of State, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

His Excellency, in those most difficult moments for each of us, devoted himself to the nation, revived the state system, and laid the foundations for social, economic, and cultural development. Independence is not only a symbol of freedom, but also the preservation of our identity, language, culture, and national values. Thanks to independence, the Tajik nation was able to revive its history and culture, the Tajik language gained official status, national symbols were adopted, and Tajikistan’s position on the world stage was strengthened. Every citizen of the country is obliged to protect this priceless blessing—independence—because it is the pillar of the state's survival and the stability of the nation. Today, the youth, as the continuers of the path of freedom, must play a key role in safeguarding independence and strengthening statehood.

The Leader of the Nation has repeatedly emphasized that the future of the Motherland depends on the youth. Through the efforts of the younger generation and the constructive policies of the state, independent Tajikistan has achieved significant progress in the fields of economy, science and education, culture, and sports. For the Tajik people, independence is not only a symbol of freedom, but also a source of life and the foundation of the nation’s stability. It gave us the opportunity to have an independent state, national symbols, and our own distinctive policies. On this path, the sacrifices made by the Honorable Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, are historic and remain a lesson and example for every Tajik. Today, under the flag of independence, Tajikistan is moving forward with confident steps and embracing a bright future.
