DAY AT THE SIMULATION CENTER
Emergency Response Training in the Simulation Center
Responding to medical emergencies is an essential part of training qualified healthcare professionals at the department of phthisiopulmonology. Today, fifth-year students from group 37 of the medical faculty practiced first aid techniques for conditions such as pneumothorax and pulmonary edema at our university’s simulation center.
“This session helped us reinforce theoretical knowledge and gain essential hands-on skills,” shared students Sirojiddinova M. J. and Saidulloev S. U..
The students appreciated the modern equipment, which enables them to safely acquire practical experience—skills that every fifth-year medical student should possess. They especially enjoyed the teamwork, engaging discussions, and solving clinical case scenarios.
The layout of the center—with dedicated spaces for pediatrics, resuscitation, and ambulance-based emergency care—was noted as being highly convenient for performing practical procedures effectively.
